Hubble Redshift-Distance Relation concerning the galaxy of Sagittarius, I have a measured k wavelength line of 4050.0 with the standard being 3933.7 = 116.3. The measured wavelength of H line is 4088.0 and the H standard wavelength of H line is 3968.5 = 119.5. My question is: How do I find the Velocity K, Velocity H, and the average velocity? I need to understand this. Thanks for your help!

Suppose that you have obtained spectra of several galaxies and have measured the observed wavelength of the H-alpha line (rest wavelength = 656.3nm) to be: Galaxy 1: 659.4 nm. Galaxy 2: 664.1 nm. Galaxy 3: 675.7 nm. 10. [4pt] Calculate the redshift, z, for each of these galaxies. 11. [4pt] Calculate the radial velocity of each of these galaxies. 12. [4pt] Assuming a Hubble Constant of 66.4 km/s/Mpc, calculate the distance to each of these galaxies (answer in Mpc).

500KM O PARSECS FIGURE 1 Velocity-Distance Relation among Extra-Galactic Nebulae. 13. [3pt] Approximately what value of the Hubble Constant would you infer from this graph? (answer in km/s/Mpc) Correct, computer gets: 500 14. [3pt] What is the approximate age of the universe indicated by this (very wrong) value of the Hubble Constant? (answer in years)

I am very confused on number one of Part 1 of my lab analysis.
This lab was focused on 2D collisions with the purpose to verify
the Law of Conservation of Momentum using straight and angled
collisions. I have attached a picture of the procedure from part 1,
my data, and the analysis question I am stuck on. Again, it is
question #1 on the Parts I and II Analysis section. Please
help!!

I need help for numbers 1 and 3. For number one I
measured the height of the track at angle. One of the heights was
.082m. hypotenuse 1.013m. I did sin^-1(.082/1.013) and got 4.64
degrees. I used a sensor and aquired data for change in v and t as
a glider fell down the track. I calculated the acceleration at that
height and angle as -10.18 m/s^2. final V was 1.48, initial V .687.
final t=.0675, initial t= .1454.

Hello, my name is Shady Slim. I understand you are going to help me figure out my gross income for the year... whatever that means. It's been a busy year and I'm a busy man, so let me give you the lowdown on my life and you can do your thing I was unemployed at the beginning of the year and got $2,000 in unemployment compensation. Use the information given below to answer the next three questions. February 14, 2006, marked the 60th anniversary of ENIAC, the first computer in the world. In a Computerworld magazine interview, ENIAC's inventor Pres Eckert explains how they chose the right type of wires back in 1946: "We only used wire that passed the mouse test". They threw a number of wire samples in a cage full...
I need help with the problem in the last photo.. I thought I’d
post my lab explanation and data if that helps you get a better
understanding, but it’s just the question at the end. I know I need
to use the Henderson Hasselbach equation.. so... 4.70 = pKa + log(
[acetate-ion] / [acetic-ion] ) and solve for pKa, then Ka.. but how
do I find the concentrations to put in the log fraction?
Thanks, in advance!
