We will calculate the weighted factor analysis using below formula -

Total score = Summation of (Weight or Sub-weight of Factor * Raw Score)

Total score = (Weight or Sub-weight of Factor 1 * Raw Score for Factor 1) + (Weight or Sub-weight of Factor 2 * Raw Score for Factor 2) + ...................................(Weight or Sub-weight of Factor n * Raw Score for Factor n)

For given problem, since both weights and sub-weights are given however raw score is given for sub-factor level hence we will sub weight for those cases. Weight will be used where we have factor raw score given. For instance, under Technical we will use raw score for Design and Experience (86, 68 for Supplier A), and sub-weights (0.10 and 0.15 for Supplier B).

Hence total score for Supplier A = (86*0.10 + 68*0.15) + (82*0.10 + 71*0.05) + (72*0.10 + 69*0.05) + (77*0.15 + 90*0.15) + (84*0.15) = 78.85
