when warmer air comes in contact with the snow, it transfers heat to snow and it starts melting down. it transforms to rain ( rain is the liquid form of water)

when the sun comes out, due to its intense heat, water gets dried up and converts to water vapour( water vapour is the gas form of water).

changes in state : snow to rain to water vapour

which therefore implies solid to liquid to gas.
