Answer #1

1. Number of small screen television = 3x

Number of medium screen television = 10x

Number of large screen television = 15x

Given, 10x - 3x = 91

x = 91 ÷ 7 = 13

Small screen television = 3×13 = 39

Medium screen television = 10×13 = 130

Large screen television = 15 × 13 = 195

Regular Price of each small television = $280

Discounted price of small screen television = 280 × ( 1-0.15) = $238

Regular Price of each medium screen television = $360

Discounted price of medium screen television = 360 × (1-0.20) = $288

Regular Price of each large screen television = 2 ×280 = $560

Discounted price of large screen television = 560 × (1-0.30) = $392

Total sales = ( 39×238) + (130×288) + ( 195 ×392) = $123162
