(iii) It is so because if more heat than mass × latent heat is removed , then temperature of ice falls below its melting point that is below 0 degree Celsius.

(V) water at 0 degree celsius can be converted into ice at 0 degree celsius only after water has absorbed the latent heat of fusion.
