I agree with the claim that structural and cultural factors determined the racial and social inequality but it could also be flipped and viewed the other way round. Initially, white people thought that they are superior human beings because of their skin color and they are more intelligent than others. It’s because of these thoughts, they have made the others inferior thus forcing them to live in a disadvantaged position. This accumulated advantage of the whites and disadvantage of the others built a social structure that was determined by the white culture. Everyone in America was forced to follow the majority culture and made to believe that they were inferior to the white people thus leading to the structural inequality.
