a) Total number of components=10

Since all are different there selection and arrangements will effect the designs

So, total designs possible= 10P10 = 3628800

b) 5 components are of one type

3 components are of second type

2 components are of third type

So total designs = 10!/(5!*3!*2!)= 2520

c)Since all are identical and only 7 need to be chosen from them

total design= 10C7=120
