Some of the assessment necessary for a patient who is going to receive drug therapy are

• Any allergic history to know about the drug compliance after administration or before starting the therapy
• Any medical condition like genetic problems which can aggravate or diminish the potentiality of the drug administered
• High risk patients ,vulnerable patients like children ,elderly populations,immunocompromised patients, blood disorders, etc., have to be closely monitored before starting because this can increase the adverse reactions
• Systemic assessment (liver,kidney) as most part of the drug is metabolized in these organs, any fefects in it can decrease absorption and prevent elimination of toxins from the body resulting in accumulation of the drug in the body.
• History of any current are recent medication because they're are chances for drug interactions
