#. Yes this hospitalisation has impacted my plan for assisting this client with smoking cessation . Actually it has helped me to change the unhealthy behaviour of the patient because the disease has caused irritation and cios in his life due to the pain and suffering .

SBAR :-

Situation - Patient's name is Darby . He is diagnosed with community acquired pneumonia . As a part of treatment he is on IV antibiotics ,and oxygen 2L by nasal cannula .

Background - Patient is a case of pneumonia on oxygen therapy and antibiotics . Nursing interventions for smoking cessation

Assessment - Now as he is having pneumonia and is admitted to the hospital , implementation of the plan smoking cessation will be easy to administer .

Recommendation - Health education about the disease would help to modify his smoking behaviour
