Recently, Jerry has started refusing to take his medications. He has been experiencing bouts of insomnia and loss of appetite. He has also begun withdrawing from social activities in the centre.

Jerry is 68 years old.he is a aged person.he is facing some troubles now.

1).here jerry is having intellectual disability so he is very prone for accidents.he had a medical history of type 2 diabetes and hypertension so he is at a risk for myocardial infraction too.

2).physiological changes occur during old age.mental and physical detoriation occur in old age.risk prevention strategy should be applied for them.proper counselling should be done for them.

3).nursing care that can be given to jerry are-

Provide security for them.

Give love and psychological support to them.

Make them feel comfortable by providing them information about their health problems.

For increasing appetite Monotonacity of food should be changed.

Proper treatment facility should be provided for them.
