* Importance of disease awaireness in the case of navigator.

             * Navigator should be knowledgible about infections and noncommunicable diseases

                because

                              * Continous heavy rolling and pitching movement ofthe ship result in workers

                 more prone to motion sickness.

                               * Long journeys and extreme whether conditions result in changes in the vital

                                  signs and organ function leads to non communicable diseases.

                                * Various pathogens present in the sea (bacteria,virus,parasites) cause

                                   infections when a cut or injury occur when doing work in the sea.

                               * Lack of professional medical assistance (physician) in the ship result in

                                  lack of treatment if any disease or infection occur.

                               * Knowledge about diseases help the navigator to manage the health problems

                                of sea workers in the middle of the sea.
