Hurricane Katrina was a major disaster which costed the lives of many ,loss of their family members,loss in financial and economic status.People at this time to avoid further issues should be united and not dominant over one another rather showing up their cultural and ethnic backgrounds for priority care or to access their demand.

Martha can resolve this effectively in the following ways

• Prioritizing the needs
• Educating them about unity and equality
• Should have a general knowledge on variety of culture and their ethnic practices, beliefs to handle any uneventful act
• Getting the help of volunteer to meet each and every individual.
• Respect them to interact with them and sort their problems
• Understand the clients believe and values for a good communication and rapport.
• Identify the different ethnic group because their practices differs with one another ,knowing this helps to provide a better care from the intervention provided
• Know the behaviour of the people because tgey differ according to their culture and background
• Explore the area of existing conflicts
