Answer #1

Answer :- initial temperature of the krypton = 24.46 °C.

Explanation :-

Given :-

specific heat of gaseous krypton = C = 0.248 J/g.°C

q = 40.3 J

m = 12.0 gram

Tf = 38.0 °C

Ti = ?

Formula:-

q=m.C.27

q=m.C.(T; -T;)

40.3(J) = 12(g) * 0.248(J/g. c) * (38(°C) - T;)

40.3(J) 12(g) x 0.248(J/g.°C) m = (38(°C) – T;)

13.54(°C) = (38(°C) -T;)

T; = 38(°C) - 13.54(°C)

T; = 24.46(°C)
