(b) When outsiders visit an emergency department work area, standing still for very long can give them away as 'outsiders'. If outsiders visit your culture or workplace, what gives them away as outsiders? (dress? language? behaviors?)

In my country there are various people who have travelled from across the world and have come to settle down with various different reasons, be it transfers, or change in environment, or due to cheap leaving expenses etc. There are always people coming from outside world to become part of our country.

If an outsider visits my culture or work place, the things that gives th away as outsiders are:

- dress: here in India we women prefer to wear long and covered dresses especially sarees and salwars but the people from rest of the world wear other different kinds of dresses which is what makes them different. But I always respect how they understand our beliefs and our style and they try to adapt it.

- colour: the skin colour of the outsiders make them stand tall from the crowd of our own. They are more on the fairer side and can clearly be noticed.

- behaviours : people from other countries have different behaviours. Even when we encounter people from other parts in the emergency room, we see them more calm and composed where our own country people make a chaos and hustle bustle around. There will be more cryings and prayers made by the relatives for the safety of the patients.

- culture: there are different cultural values in different parts of the world including ours. Our country have many different cultures, even the people from other part of India when visits our area have difficulty in understanding our culture.
