ml/hr = Total volume to be infused / time in hr

ml/hr = 50/½ = 100 ml/hr

The IV pump should be ser at 100 ml/hr.

Ancef 500 mg = 50 ml

So, 50 ml = 500 mg

100 ml = x

x = 500 × 100 / 50 = 1000 mg.
