Does NaOH deprptonate the alpha hydrogen in a ketone that results to the thermodynamic product or the kinetic product and why?

In this reaction NaOH is a strong base and it will abstract the proton of the alpha hydrogen in the ketone. Intermediate will be stable through the resonance which makes this more stable due to lesser energy. This is the reason the major and final product will be the thermodynamically stable.
