For this week’s Discussion, think of a specific testing scenario. Then consider a reliable test item for that testing scenario and an unreliable item for that same testing scenario. Consider how you might know if these items are reliable or unreliable.
With these thoughts in mind:
Post a brief description of a specific testing scenario. Then describe one reliable test item and one unreliable test item for that testing scenario. Finally, explain what determines whether an item is reliable or unreliable within the scenario you presented.
A Test Scenario is defined as any functionality that can be tested. It is also called Test Condition or Test Possibility. As a tester, you may put yourself in the end user’s shoes and figure out the real-world scenarios and use cases of the Application Under Test.
What is Scenario Testing?
Scenario Testing is a variant of Software Testing where Scenarios are Used for Testing. Scenarios help in an Easier Way of Testing of the more complicated Systems
Why create Test Scenarios?
Test Scenarios are created for the following reasons,

How to Write Test Scenarios
As a tester, you can follow these five steps to create Test Scenarios-

The term reliability in psychological research refers to the consistency of a research study or measuring test.
For example, if a person weighs themselves during the course of a day they would expect to see a similar reading. Scales which measured weight differently each time would be of little use.
The same analogy could be applied to a tape measure which measures inches differently each time it was used. It would not be considered reliable.
If findings from research are replicated consistently they are reliable. A correlation coefficient can be used to assess the degree of reliability. If a test is reliable it should show a high positive correlation.
Of course, it is unlikely the exact same results will be obtained each time as participants and situations vary, but a strong positive correlation between the results of the same test indicates reliability.
If the scale is reliable it tells you the same weight every time you step on it as long as your weight has not actually changed. However, if the scale is not working properly, this number may not be your actual weight. If that is the case, this is an example of a scale that is reliable, or consistent, but not valid. For the scale to be valid and reliable, not only does it need to tell you the same weight every time you step on the scale, but it also has to measure your actual weight.
Switching back to testing, the situation is
essentially the same. A test can be reliable, meaning that the
test-takers will get the same score no matter when or where they
take it, within reason of course. But that doesn't mean that it is
valid or measuring what it is supposed to measure. A test can be
reliable without being valid. However, a test cannot be valid
unless it is reliable.

Think about a healthcare scenario where multiple regression might be useful in a healthcare organization. Consider what your dependent and independent variables might be for conducting a multiple regression analysis. Build a small example, and run the regression analysis. Post a description of the dependent and independent variables you will use for your multiple regression analysis, and then explain your regression model in terms of your dependent and independent variables. Explain how you might measure your variables. Be specific and...
Analyzing and Creating Value for Stakeholders For this discussion, consider important stakeholders from an organization you are familiar with or from those at Independence Medical Center presented in the Vila Health: Analysis of an EHR System. If you were going to implement improvements in an EHR or HIT system, who would be the most important to get onboard? Additionally, how could you illustrate value to the relevant groups to help create buy-in for specific improvements? Keep these thoughts in mind...
Topic Think about some activities that you do in your everyday life that include types of motion. They might include shopping in the supermarket, playing sports, or walking your dog. Each of these activities involves multiple motions -starts, stops, constant motions, and changing speeds. To prepare for this discussion, you will consider the many different motions that combine to form one activity. Then, you will write a short description of the activity, emphasizing each of the motions involved in it,...
Week 6: Lab Overview TABLE OF CONTENTS Lab Overview Scenario/Summary Write a windows console application that holds data about an item in a retail store. Your class should be named RetailItem and should hold data about an item in a retail store. The class will have the following member variables. Description - string holding the description of the item, unitsOnHand - int that holds the number of units in inventory Price - double that holds the price of the item...
This week’s discussion will allow you to combine what we learned about global marketing with the product you are using for your marketing plan. Assume that you are being sent to the country you were assigned at the beginning of the module (no, you cannot change) to market the product you are using in your class marketing plan. Considering everything we have learned so far about the marketing mix, environment and other factors you need to develop a plan to...
You will be assigned a specific cellular respiration inhibitor for this discussion (Cyanide is my cellular respiration). As you know by now, cellular respiration is essential for many organisms including plants, animals, and many single-celled organisms. What happens when a molecule interrupts cellular respiration? How might it do so? You should spend approximately 3 hours on this assignment. Instructions Answer the following questions in a few paragraphs. What is the basic purpose of cellular respiration? What are the reactants and...
As the health and fitness director of a large corporate wellness program, you have been asked to provide data to your supervisor that supports the effectiveness of your program. The trend in the company has been to cut programs that do not “carry their weight.” The “bottom line” is important. In your review of the data related to your program, it is obvious that the data are not strong. However, in fairness to you, the program has been in operation...
Discussion Question #1: Genetic Testing The recent explosion of knowledge about genetics raises many interesting practical and ethical questions about genetic testing. Initiate a discussion about the pros and cons of such testing: A. Do you believe that people should be tested to determine their susceptibility to certain diseases? When should this testing be done? At birth? Prenatally? B. Should parents be allowed to test their unborn children for the presence or absence of certain traits? C. Should they be...
Objective: The purpose of this project is to provide you with experience in stating and testing a hypothesis of a given data that you have selected Report Guidelines: You should submit a report describing your activities. Your report should contain the exact sections described below. The point vałues that will be assigned to the sections are listed to the right of the section title. Problem Statement (10): In the problem statement, you should introduce the 1. random variable that you...
