Describe any disaster related hazard to which your region(KSA) is vulnerable and mention some preventive measures, which you could take to reduce the risk of that hazard?

My region is vulnerable to man-made or anthropogenic disasters, some of which includes the release of toxic chemicals, fires, explosions, building collapse, accidents, etc. these disasters have a long-term effect on people's life. instead of managing the disaster's effect, the community spends much time dealing with "who made the mistake?"

I live in an industrial area where a large urbanization is there.

steps to prevent

• building collapse is due to mainly poor planning and construction of man-made facilities. firstly by properly analyzing and planning the best construction material with planning will surely reduce this disaster.
• proper dumping of nuclear and industrial wastes that contains harmful gases and toxic chemicals is definitely a good way to prevent leakage of these chemicals.
• anthropogenic disaster always needs a multi-sectoral approach.
• air pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitric oxides are extremely bad for not only animal and human life but also for plant life also. release of these harmful gases to a permissible level can control their effect.
