Why are the polysulfides such as S2-, S3-, S62- chromophore? What is the colour for each one?
Polysulfide are class of compound which contain one or more than one atoms of Sulfur linked to each other by molecular covalent bonds .
Since long chains of Sulphur atoms are present so they have general formula Sn2- where S2- is sulphide ion that is sulphur having negative of 2 charge and cation present can be Hydrogen , Sodium , ammonium etc.
Polysulfide are used in tanning process , in organic synthesis , battery technology etc..
They are called polysulfide chromophore because chromophore is basically containing group of structures or metal or molecule which are connected together and can provide color to structure by either electron transfer or delocalisation .
S2- is basically sulfide ion which is basic monomer unit of polysulfide and color of this sulfide ion is not much dark , it is light yellow because less number of Sulphur linked are present .
If we increase number of Sulphur atoms then number of chromophore groups increases so color becomes darker
like Na2S3 has blue color or ultramarine color type , Na2S4 has blue ice color type
similarly solution color goes on becoming darker .
You can see basic structure for three polysulfides are drawn below among with their cation .

Given the following sequence of instructions: lw $s2, 0($s1) //1 lw $s1, 40($s3) //2 sub $s3, $s1, $s2 //3 add $s3, $s2, $s2 //4 or $s4, $s3, $zero //5 sw $s3, 50($s1) //6 a. List the read after write (current instruction is reading certain registers which haven’t been written back yet) data dependencies. As an example , 3 on 1 ($s2) shows instruction 3 has data dependency on instruction 1 since it is reading register $s2. b. Assume the 5...

CPS 2231 Review for Exam2 8. What will print? String s2 new String ("Arthur"); String s3 s2; String s4new String ("Arthur") System.out.printin(s2--3); System.out.printin(s24); System.out.printin(s2.equals(s4)); Compare the two Strings below for equality based on their value an equals or not equals .
(MATLAB Question) Assume s1 = sin(2*(pi)*f1*t), s2 = sin(2*(pi)*f2*t + 0.4) and s3 = s1 + s2, where f1 = 0.2 and f2 = 0.425. Plot s1, s2 and s3 vs t with t=0:0.1:10 on the same graph (you have to use hold on command). Label the axes and create legends for each graph.

SQL question Consider the three transactions T1, T2 and T3, and the schedules S1, S2, S3 and S4 given below. Which of the schedules is (conflict) serializable? The subscript for each database operation in a schedule denotes the transaction number for that operation. For each schedule, show all conflicts, draw the precedence graph, determine and write down if it is serializable or not, and the equivalent serial schedules if exist. T1: r1(x); w1(x); T2: r2(x); T3: r3(x); w3(x); S1: r1(x);...
