1) : Evidence of a chemical reaction : Blue colour of CuSO​​​4 solution turned into colourless solution of ZnSO​​​4 .

Balanced chemical reaction :

CuSO​​​4 (aq.) + Zn (s) ------> Cu(s) + ZnSO​​​4 (aq)

Balanced net ionic equation :

Cu​​​​​2+ (aq) + Zn (s) -----> Zn​​​​​2+ (aq) + Cu (s)

2) Cu metal can not displace Zn from ZnSO​​​4 solution . So, reaction wouldn't happen .
