Answer #1

1. False.

Distributed generation (DG) is any electricity generating technology (e.g. solar panel) independently installed by a customer at their home, business, or other privately owned property. It is owned and operated by the customer who installed it.

2. False.

Generators connected to electric grids are a combination of unvarying power plants, dispatchable generators and intermittent energy sources(e.g. solar, wind etc) selected to optimize the cost, availability and reliability. Dispatchable generators can reach full output in a very short timespan of order of seconds, hence they are required for frequency control. However all generators connected to grid need not be dispatchable.

3. True.

From the perspective of the electrical grid, the electric vehicles connected for charging are seen as additional load.

4. True.

A microgrid generally operates connected to the main grid and while connected, can be considered a fraction of the main grid. However, it can disconnect from the main grid and operate autonomously using local energy generation (e.g. distributed generation, batteries etc) in times of crisis like natural disasters (e.g. storms) or power outages, or for other reasons.

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...

    10. Write a one-page summary of the attached paper? INTRODUCTION Many problems can develop in activated sludge operation that adversely affect effluent quality with origins in the engineering, hydraulic and microbiological components of the process. The real "heart" of the activated sludge system is the development and maintenance of a mixed microbial culture (activated sludge) that treats wastewater and which can be managed. One definition of a wastewater treatment plant operator is a "bug farmer", one who controls the aeration...
