Given Specific production in Amman is 1600 kWh/kWp/ear.

Average Monthly consumption is 400 kWh.

Yearly Consumption is 12*400 = 4800 kWh/year.

Case 1 :- Considering Ideal System i.e DC to AC conversion efficiency is 100%

DC Capacity of PV System need to be installed is = 4800/1600 = 3 kWp

Inverter rating is 3 kW @ Unity power factor.

Case 2:- Considering DC to AC Conversion ratio is 80%.

Total Consumption of House in Amman is 4800/0.8 = 6000 kWh (DC Units)

DC Capacity of PV System is = 6000/1600 = 3.75 kWp

Inverter rating is 3 kW @ Unity power factor.

If the solar PV system to the house in Amman is stand alone

Case 1:- Lead Acid batteries are used 50% usable energy and DC to AC is 100% efficient

Total units required by House in Amman is = 4800/(0.5) = 9600 Units

DC Capacity of PV System need to be installed is = 9600/1600 = 6 kWp

Case 1:- Lithium Ion  batteries are used 80% usable energy and DC to AC is 100% efficient

Total units required by House in Amman is = 4800/(0.8) = 6000 Units

DC Capacity of PV System need to be installed is = 6000/1600 = 3.75 kWp
