Discuss the differentiation of various disability perspectives and how these exist a relationship between public health and disability?

Disability is an impairment or condition . It has three different perspectives :-

- Deficit = idea that human behavior and characteristics shared by people distributed along a continuum.

- Cultural = different culture have different view about disability

- Sociological = skills and traits socially constructed

There is a vital relationship between public health and disability because based on these disabilities and needs health care provider provides services to the patient.

Health care professional has to pay same importance to the patient's disability and to the assessed needs . To provide care related to disability the health care professionals must be aware of the different disability perspectives because many national and international responses to the patient with disabilities are based on social and human right perspectives of disability.

Health care professionals working from social and human right perspectives on disability can develop approaches that respect and promote the rights of patients living with disabilities to participation in education, employment and lives of dignity.
