Under the Indirect method of preparation of statement of cash flows, all the non-cash items are added or deducted from the Net Income to calculate the adjusted cash flow from operating activities. Such items are Depreciation,Gain/loss from sales of assets and such. Also any increase/decrease in the working capital are also adjusted.
