Nursing process:

Nursing process is a scientific method used to ensure quality of care to the patient.

Steps:

Nursing process has five steps like

1. Assessment: it include subjective data and objective data

2. Nursing diagnosis

3. Goal

4. Nursing intervention

5. Nursing implementation

6. Evaluation or expected outcome

ADPIE:

In nursing the ADPIE means

A- Assessment

D= Diagnosis

P= Planning

I= Implementation

E= Evaluation

How to answer critical question:

1. First focus on priority of patient care

2. Concentrate on airway, breathing and circulation

3. Correlate with clinical scenario when giving answer

4. Recall the normal clinical values and therapeutic range

5. Always compare book picture and patient picture
