Given that [Ca2+] = [salt] = 0.26 M

pH = 8.78, i.e. [H+] = 10-8.78 M

Now, [H+] = (Kw * Ka/[salt])1/2

i.e. 10-8.78 = (10-14 * Ka/0.26)1/2

i.e. 10-17.56 = 10-14 * Ka/0.26

Therefore, Ka = 7.16*10-5
