Answer #1

The democratic system is the most sought after the political system where we can change our government without shedding a single drop of blood. But over the past few years, polarisation in the American system is becoming more glaring and prominent. it is killing the very objective of living democracy. In order to sustain a healthy form of democracy, we must affiliate ourselves with any political parties.

Once we get membership or get associated with any political party, we tend to support even faulty actions and policies of parties. Such behaviors of voters could lead to the demise of democracy. it not only killing democracy but also creating a rift in society. Based on a survey, 47 Republicans say that democrats are immoral while 36 % democrats say that republicans are immoral.

We are moving towards the massive disaster, we need to correct such erratic behaviors where we must judge parties based on their performances and actions. Further, people must vote for the common good.

Thus, political polarisation is concerning and we need to correct it to sustain the living democracy.
