To what extent do you think the belief transmission, game as described by Daniel Gilbert, is in fact rigged
We think money brings happiness in life because it uplifts our economic status. Children also bring happiness. These both are facts and we cannot argive whether these both brings happiness or miseries. Belief transmission game is rigged to a certain extent. Eventhough money and children may bring happiness ,both leads to misery too. When money is more there may be fear of robbery and doubts about how to invest it in profitable way. Also if you donot have money you may be struggling to meet your requirements. In case of children, eventhough they bring happiness it takes lots of work , money and patience to raise them into a responsible humanbeing.Raising kids are complicated but to live and prosper in a society money and kins are necessary .When there is no money you may think your life is lost . Whatever we believe that happens and it may change for each individual. Even a negative thought if communicated more may be transmitted more. So belief transmission game is to an extent planned.
