Role of medical social worker

A medical social worker assists patients and families in finding and arranging services such as in home care, nurenur home care, clinics, hospitals and counseling. They provide assistance in getting financial support from various agencies to the needed families.

ACA means Affordable Care act or Obama care act, which is a federal health care reform statute signed into law in 2010 by president Barack Obama. It includes 2 pieces of legislation, patient protection and Obamacare and health care and education reconciliation act of 2010. Social workers have been providing services in end- of- life care

Medical social worker play an important role in giving adequate knowledge regarding treatment and other facilities given by the government in the socuso setting. They have many roles like act s patient advocates, and counselors, perform psychological assessments, refer .patie pat and families to medical resources and provide patient and family assistance in obtaining financial band legal assistance. They works to assure they the best interest of the patient are being met
