P * V = n * R * T
for the given states
P1 = 1.2 atm
V1 = 4.0 m3
T1 = 27 + 273 = 300 K
P2 = 0.5 1.2 = 0.6 atm
V2 = to be find out
T2 = 127 + 273 = 400 K
( P1 * V1 ) / T1 = ( P2 * V2 ) / T2
so V2 = ( P1 * V1 * T2 ) / ( T1 * P2 )
V2 = ( 1.2 * 4 * 400 ) / ( 300 * 0.5 * 1.2 )
V2 = 10.667 m3
