Hi. How do I solve for an equation where I am given two letters? The problem given is "x+y=80" and then "2x-y=37" how do I figure out both answers?

Hi, I am trying to solve a problem where I have to find the
fourier series for a square wave with an amplitude of one, w = 2pi.
How can I show that the An coeffcients of the fourier serie will be
zero for a square wave? The square wave is first wave in the
picture.
Hi I am studing multivariable calculus and I am asked to write
down the parametric equation for the conic sections. I know, you
are probably thinking " just do a google search". However, it is
not totally out there on the web for all the cases. I would please
like it if you could write down form the parmetirc equation of a
conic section for both the vertical and horizontal categories.
Thanks should be an easy thing to do ;)...
How do I solve this problem?
Problem 3 For the following differential equation, construct a finite difference approximation around point Xi that is accurate to second order, i.e., O(ha) where h is the step size. Write your answer in terms of Yi+2 = y(xi+2), Yi+1 = y(xi+1), yi = y(xi), and h. 2y + y - y=1
If I am given a problem that says an object moves up and down on a table sinusoidally with a given amplitude of 4 cm and then I am told that the table begins to move up and down very fast leaving the object to eventually leave the table, how would I determine the position in the oscillation that the object left the table and also the frequency that the object left the table? Can you please explain in detail...
hi i visual basic windows form app .net how do get started for coding i am new and have no experience i know the dim statement but i can figure out the rest is there any way to know how? example using if statements and do while loop
Hi, so I am given a situation, and I am supposed to answer this two part question. So here is the situation Two Carts, going towards each other to a collision (ELASTIC COLLISION) Car 1 information m1= unknown (mass of car) initial velocity: 30 cm/s (no need to convert to m/s) final velocity: 0 Car 2 information: m2 = 150g initial velocity: -30 cm/s (negative because it is a vector, going towards the left) final velocity: unknown First part asks...
80 = -31.08 + 22.26ln(x) How do I solve this equation for x?

I'm doing a College Physics Problem in two-dimensional motion: I am trying to see if, given an initial velocity x, and an angle and want to solve for the initial velocity of y: Can you take the tangent of the angel and multiply it by the initial velocity of x? To get the initial velocity of y?
Hi!
Can someone explain how to to answer the problem? I have tried but
I am confused on how to write it?
Assume that a competitive market is currently represented by the following supply and demand equations: Qs P 20 Qd 110-0.5P 1. (2 Points) Solve for the equilibrium price and quantity. 2. (1 Point) Solve for the price elasticity of demand. 3. (4 Points) Graph the market equilibrium. Fully label the graph.
