1. About the case :

Complaint against Exposure Marketing Company, Sellers Playbook, Jessie Conners, Tieva and Matthew Tieva filled by Federal Trade Commission, Minmesota, State of. Filer request summons issued case assigned to judge Donovan W. Prank per 3rd/4th masters list referred to Magistrate judge Tony N. Leung.

The FTC and Minnesota Attorney general office alleged that defendants lured consumers into believing that they would likely earned thousands of dollars a month selling products on Amazon. In marketing their so called system for selling of Amazon, defendants use false and unsubstantiated claims such as make $20,000 a month and potential profit $1287463.38 according to the complaint price of system that defendants sold ranged that $497 to more than $30,000.

The complaint alleges that defendants violated the FTC Act, Consumer Review Fairness Act, Minnesota Prevention of Consumer Fraud Act by making false and unsupported earning claims falling to provide the required disclosure documents, using contracts that restrict individual consumers ability to review product and services they purchased.

Settlement approved by the court bans defendants from selling and assisting others to sell any business coaching programme. Defendants prohibited from making unsupported earnings claims and suppressing consumers review of defendants products or services and are required to turn over significant assets for consumer redress.

Settlement order imposes $20.8 million judgement against the defendants, which will be suspended when they surrender held in any corporate accounts, all goods and assets are owned by corporate defendants, all assets held by court appointed receiver and substantial assets owned by Matthew and Jessie Trieva.
