We need to have the following data

Electronegativity  of Cl =3.16

Electronegativity of Na =0.93

Electronegativity of Ge=2.01

Electronegativity of As   2.18

Electronegativity of Ba =0.89

Electro negativity of Sr =0.95

On the X axis we have the electro negativity of the cation and on the Y axis we have the electro negativity of anion.

Given salts are

GeAs   2.01,2.18

NaCl   0.93,3.16

ClCl     3.16,3,16

BaSr   0.89,0.95

i. NaC ii. GeAs ii. CIC iv. BaSr c) Discuss which compound you believe will have the highest melting temperature? d) Discuss

The electronegativity difference between the cation and the anion is highest in the NaCl, so it will have a higher ionic character and thus the high melting point.

on the other hand Cl2 will be covalent and thus lowest melting point.
