M = molar mass = 4 g/mol

n = number of moles

number of moles is given as

n = m/M

n = 5.2/4

n = 1.3

P1 = 2 atm = 2 x 101325 Pa = 202650 Pa

V1 = ?

T1 = 37 C = 37 + 273 = 310 K

Using the equation

P1 V1 = n R T1

(202650) V1 = (1.3) (8.314) (310)

V1 = 0.0165 m3

hence T3 = T2 = 657 C

P3 = 2 atm = 2 x 101325 Pa = 202650 Pa

T3 = 657 C = 657 + 273 = 930 K

Using the equation
