A large hunk of metal is in a region of space filled by a uniform E-field (500 v/m). 250 C of charge is then deposited on the metal surface. What E-field will exist within the metal almost instantaneously.

               E - field iside a metal is always zero

wheather it is charged or uncharged E field is always zero

therefore field inside metal hunk is zero
