Answer #1

The recent figure of the unemployment rate depicts that the current unemployment rate in the United States is around 3.6 per cent for the month of April 2019. In 2018, there were around 128.57 million who were employed on full time basis. The economy in the United States is currently operating at its full employment level and thus unemployment rate is close to its natural level. Thus, the current unemployment is mainly frictional and structural in nature with no cyclical unemployment in the economy.
