According to Aristotle, an individual has three types of friendship: 1. Friendship of utility Friendship of pleasure 2. Friendship of good 3. Friendship of utility: This friendship is based purely on benefits received from each other. For e.g. business partners and colleagues Friendship of pleasure: This friendship is based on the enjoyment and pleasure one receives from their company. For e.g. friends since kids Friendship of good: This friendship is the most needed and true friendship. In this, the friends are true to each other on the face, be it complimenting them or telling them their mistakes or areas to act on to have a better and mature life
