The environmental scanning has evolved out that there are social, technological and regulatory forces behind a healthy diet in America.

• Social forces: social forces are impactful on a healthy habit. Healthy diet depends on food habit and food habit varies across communities around America. Proper food habit ensures a healthy diet. However, food habit is different across societies. It depends on social norms, culture, beliefs, and lifestyle. For example- the lifestyle of Mexican society in the USA is very fast and they have drinking and reckless smoking habit. They do not maintain a healthy diet.
• Technological: Technological factors are also impactful on a healthy diet. Technology is utilized to find out foods and beverages of different brands. Some of those brands do not contain health-friendly ingredients in their products which adversely affects both physical and mental health. For example- high caloric pizza or junk foods are reasons for unusual weight gain.
