Answer #1

T = 13 + 273 = 286 K

P = 0.800 atm

n = 3.90

P V = n R T

0.800 x V = 3.90 x 0.0821 x 286

V = 114 L

volume = 114 L

The four properties of gases (pressure P, volume V, temperature T, and moles of gas n) are related by a single expression known as the ideal gas law: PV=nRT The variable R is known as the universal gas constant and has the value R=0.0821 L⋅atm/(mole⋅K). The units of R dictate the units for all other quantities, so when using this value...
