Answer #1

The growth in global trade post 2000 is mainly due to the opening up markets(i.e free trade policies being adapted) by most of the nations in the world. The doubling of trade can be attributed to a greater integration of markets and increasing globalisation. As globalisation increases people tend to demand more goods from all across the world and their taste and preferences change accordingly, there by higher movement of goods and services take place among nations. This has been explained by Paul Krugman, the Nobel laureate un Economics that how imperfect competition, geography and and factors like demand will increase trade among nations. The single most important factor behind the growth in trade acrethe globe can be the technological advancements and the benefits of it.

The growth of trade is likely to continue because as trade increases among the nations, they become increasingly dependent on each other and end up having more trade with the passage of time. Though there is an issue of rising protectionism in the world due to short sightedness of countries but this is going to be short lived. Growth of free trade will prevail as human societies progress.

"The phenomenon of road rage has been frequently discussed but infrequently examined." So begins a report based on interviews with 1382 randomly selected drivers. The respondents' answers to interview questions produced scores on an "angry/threatening driving scale" with values between 0 and 19. Does the driver's age affect road rage? Here are the mean responses for three age-groups. The report says that F = 34.96 with p-value < 0.01. What is the null hypothesis for the ANOVA F test? All...

PROBLEM 5.3: So far in our class we have been always talking about amplifiers in their DC perspective and small-signal perspective. In this problem we will try to look at the "large-signal perspective of a common-source amplifier. Let us consider the most basic configuration of a common-source amplifier (i.e., a transistor with a resistor). Assuming K = 0.4mA/V2, Vrn = 1.5V, 1 = 0. (a) Plot Nout as a function of Ug when ug changes from OV to 5V. Label...

Human evolution has been the topic of the videos and discussions during this semester. We have followed our species from its earliest appearance to the present. You have also learned about different types of cultures around the world that descended from the most initial interactions among ancestral human groups. What do we think was the most critical, pivotal moment in our history that changed our species forever? How did it change us, and what have been the implications in culture...
