Data Files needed for this Case Problem: DriveOutline.docx and DriveFees.xlsx

Freeman’s Driving School David Freeman owns and operates a driving school. He wants to expand his business and plans to give a presentation to several local high schools to highlight the benefits of his school. He typed an outline and asked you to create the presentation. He also provided you with a list of fees in an Excel fi le and wants you to add the list to one of the slides. Complete the following steps:

1. Open the Word document DriveOutline located in the Integration\Case3 folder included with your Data Files. Save it as Freeman Outline in the same folder.

2. Use Outline view to adjust the topics so that they are grouped in a way that makes sense. Save your changes, and then close the document and exit Word.

3. Create a new PowerPoint presentation using a theme of your choice. Save the presentation as Freeman Presentation in the Integration\Case3 folder.

4. Create new slides from the Freeman Outline document. Scroll through the new slides. Delete any unnecessary slides, and reset the slides if necessary.

5. Open the Excel file DriveFees, located in the Integration\Case3 folder. Save it as Linked Fees in the same folder.

6. Use the Paste Special command to link the appropriate data on the worksheet in this workbook to the appropriate slide in the presentation, and then resize and reposition the table as needed.

7. Does the color in the linked table match the design you chose for the slides? If not, change the colors of the table in the Excel worksheet, and then update the link. (You cannot change the colors of a linked Excel table in the PowerPoint presentation.)

8. Add your name as a footer to all the slides, including the title slide.

9. Save the presentation, and then submit the presentation to your instructor in printed or electronic form, as requested.

10. Close the presentation and exit PowerPoint, and then close the Excel workbook and exit Excel.
