Install a Cloud Desktop Application
Using cloud computing for storing files or backups is common. In this project, you will download and install a desktop application to facilitate using Microsoft Skydrive.
1. If you do not already have a Microsoft Skydrive account, then use your Web browser to go to login.live.com. Click Sign Up and follow the instructions for creating an account.
2. Use your Web browser to go to www.gladinet.com.
The location of content on the Internet, such as this program, may change without warning. If you are no longer able to access the program through the preceding URL, then use a search engine to search for “Gladinet Cloud Desktop”.
3. Under Gladinet Cloud Desktop, click Download.
4. Select the version that is appropriate (either 32-bit or 64-bit) by clicking it.
5. Click Save.
6. Identify a file location on your computer. When the file has finished downloading, click Run and follow the default settings to install Gladinet.
7. If necessary, launch Gladinet.
8. Under Cloud Desktop Licensing, select I want to use the free starter edition, if necessary.
9. Click Next.
10. Enter your e-mail address if you want to register. Click Next.

15. Click Finish.
16. At the Gladinet Management Console, click Open My Cloud Drive.
17. Double-click Windows Live Skydrive. This will display the folders in your Skydrive cloud account.
