Comparing discrimination in Mexico Vs the US

• Even though most Americans have health insurance they need to pay more out of pocket. Whereas Mexico is with different types of insurance plans such as the public health insurance program, employer-provided health insurance program, and private out-of-pocket care which all gives affordable health care for people.
• Mexico follows the universal health coverage system but the U.S still not established fully.
• Mexico provides preventive services, screening, vaccination for poor and low-income families under the public health insurance program. U.S health plan does not cover preventive and pre-existing conditions.
• Mexico has a lack of health services such as increased infant mortality rate, cardiovascular disease, than the U.S.
• When comparing obesity, U.S has face worsening situation.
• Mexico spends low on healthcare per capita, but the United States spends more per capita on health care and still lower in expectancy rate.
• In Mexico, there is a difference in the care of services between rural and urban. But no such differences in the United States even though the cost is high.
