5.56) Isoelectric point (pI) is calculated from pka's as:

pI = (pka1 + pka2) / 2

Thus,

For proline:

pka1 = 1.99

pka2 = 10.60

Thus,

pI = (1.99 + 10.60) / 2 = 6.295 = 6.3

Therefore, proline has pI closest to pH of water.
