1) Conflict is explained as disagreement between people which may be caused due to clash of interest.
Four potential strategies include talking,voting,compromise,mediate.
A) TALKING
Sometimes conflict occurs due to lack of communication or misunderstanding ones words so employees should sit in a place so they can work it out peacefully.By listening to all persons viewpoint they can better understand each other and compromise.
B)VOTE
If conflict occurs between people on same group discussing some matter they should vote so they can compromise on the majority opinion.
C) COMPROMISE.
Employees should compromise with each other .Both parties should equally compromise so they can both feel fair.
D) MEDIATE.
Some people cannot comprise between each other so they need a third party.So when employees cannot solve problems between each other they should use mediation sessions.
Mediation method likely to be most successful if manager likes to be involved.Because he can act as a mediator and help employees solve their problems.
2) Five stages of team development are
Forming,storming,norming,performing,adjourning.
Forming-In health care system the people work as a group and leader should explain the role the individual play in the project.
Storming-The people should work together with each other and raise ideas.And there will be conflicts between them because they want recognition from higher levels and they will critisize each other.So the manager or higher level officers should control and guide the employees.
Norming-In this stage the team members trust each other and work together to achieve goals and the managers will get updates from team and they can guide them towards the progress.
Performing- Team produces work and work together successful.In this stage conflicts does not occur if they may the managers should be alert.
Adjourning- After the team completes their project they may join new projects and managers should know about the results and success of the team through their performance.
