In this study researcher use a longitudinal approach to investigate the occurance of a
disease in existing causes.
Example of one study in prospective research design
* A study conducted to identify the effect of maternal viral infections during pregnancy on foetal
development and pregnancy outcome.
*Prospective research design is a cause to effect or present to future design so in this case i can
use this design.
* Based on this design i am first start to collect data from pregnant women about any history of
infection in women during their current pregnancy and then observe the foetal development and
pregnancy outcome.
