Nurses and other health care workers may have the opportunity to join political action committees to assist in increasing awareness of the need for health related legislation. Discuss two topics currently relevant to health care reform that his committee might promote.

Two topics currently relevant to health care reform that this committee should promote are :-

- Separate staff to handle the computer portion in the wards for example for taking barcode ,putting indents , writting discharge summary ,consultation etc under guidance of nurses and doctors so, that doctors and nurses can do their clinical work without making delay by being busy in computer tasks .

- Regarding proper nurse patient ratio , eventhough there is set rules by government regarding nurse patient ratio but mostly they are not followed and also sometimes we have to do double duty too at the same pay. It is mostly seen in private hospitals where nurses have to work for 10-12 hrs at lower pay scales .
