Solution -

The beam will be more sensitive to the solenoid current (I- solenoid ) rather than the wire current because the beam is balanced due to the magnetic field of solenoid and the magnetic field of solenoid depends on the number of turns on wire and directly proportional to it .

So once the current in the solenoid increases and due to number of turns in it it becomes 'n' times and then in turn it will increase the magnetic field to much stronger values and the force on the wire is due to the magnetic field of the wire and hence the small increase in solenoid current will largely increases the magnetic field of the solenoid because of increase of the value to 'n' times due to the number of turns in it and hence the force on the wire .

while in case of the wire current the single wire is used and hence on increasing the wire current the the force will not increase to that much extent .
