Answer #1

The gender differences is a factor that affects the metabolism of alcohol. Male has more enzymes than women which helps to metabolize alchohol. The body weight has influence on the intoxication of alchohol because it determines the available space in which the alchohol could diffuse. A person with high body weight will have less concentration of alchohol in blood compared to a low weight person, both consume the same quantity of alchohol. It also depends on how fast does these people consume the alchohol (given equal amount). The person who consume it quickly will be intoxicated fast compared to others who drink rather slowly. The overloaded of alchohol in body will result in intoxication and many other problems.

hope the answer helps.

Hibernating animals and human infants contain brown fat deposits, so-called because of the presence of large numbers of mitochondria, the site of electron transport and oxidative phosphorylation. In brown fat, given the appropriate stimulus, oxidative phosphorylation and electron transport can be uncoupled, causing energy to be dissipated as heat. The protein responsible for the uncoupling is a brown fat inner mitochondrial membrane protein previously named UCP (for uncoupling protein), but now referred to as UCP1, since a second uncoupling protein...
