Answer #1

Becoming aware of one’s beliefs is called self awareness. This can be done by:

1. seeing yourself objectively, you can learn how to accept yourself and find ways to improve yourself in the future.

  • Try to identify your current understanding by writing out your perceptions
  • Think about things you are proud of, or any accomplishments that really stand out throughout your life.
  • Think about your childhood and what made you happy back then.
  • Encourage others to be honest with you about how they feel about you, and take what they say to heart

2. Take some time each night to write in your journal about your thoughts and feelings, and your successes and failures for the day.

3. Plan out your goals so they turn from ideas into a step-by-step process. Break down your larger goal into mini-goals so it seems less overwhelming, and tackle it head on.

4. Perform daily self-reflection.

5. Practice meditation and other mindfulness habits.
